Finally got myself a Monte sticker
Geek alert!!!
After a long search and paying through the nose I have my hands on the imfamous Monte Carlo sticker.. (thanks to RS1800)
The only problem is I'm not sure if I can get the guts to stick it to the car window!
Out of interest was this the only reference to the Monte in terms of a brochure??

Yeah get it on Paul & lets see it

A scan of the sticker back to front will be fine I reckon, it will just be the wrong colour, but should give good detail hopefully aswell as what you said and an overall length of the sticker to the outside of the white edge.. actually I'll email you a diagram

I don't actually know I've only ever heard of one car that had it fitted and that was in the rear window but I don't know where. Like everything with the Monte's it all rumors and whispers I heard that all the Montes had them in the glove box?? but my guess is that where two seperate items that just happen to look good and meaningful together So I don't think it matters THB as they where never dealer fitted IMHO unless anyone knows different???

I think it was more of a publicity thing and the sticker was just a sticker given out with the brochure at the motor show or dealers etc to commemorate the win... IMO they werent ever given away with the cars.. As Paul says though unles someone else can confirm different

Paul, if I were you I would get some exact replicas made, cause there cannot be many of the original ones left now; - give one each to Damo and the Radman then remove your dealer sticker and put the monte one in the top center. I know if I was still looking for a monte to buy, as sad as it sounds that would be a real selling point.
