The number 5 monte carlo also lives in Malta, i spotted it today cursin' around. The plates are MON 005, i will try and take a couple of pics next time i see him around !

Cheers guys added the info, can you confirm the colour, plate and large/small turbo oh and I take it both in Malta where RHD? I've guess Large Turbo as the numbers are low and RHD as they are in Malta

The other Monte I'd like more info on is the 000 I've heard about that Ford bought out for a National Day once next to the Yellow RWD V6 Escort Cossie concept.

I saw a yellow escort cosworth big turbo with monte cloth trim but front seats were different ( R8 recaros I think) but still the same cloth this was the car ford did for evaluation of a 300bhp one standard before they settled on the T25 set up.
This car was haveing body repairs after a ding by a ford executive at a track day and was at Gordon spooners.
It was still owened at the time by ford this was about 4 yrs ago now.
I sat in it but I never looked to see if it had a build no.

engine wise it's standard, only got a dump valve, he also changed the rims because he prefers the look with the standard escos rims, i agree with him on that 1 !! nice bloke

do you know how much where built on martini edition, and biasion edition?

Something I'd like to know is the Monte's/Martini's and Biasion's were all know by Ford as 'commemorative' editions.. where these models included in the 200 made?, reason I ask as it seems the are also numbered. They are nigh on the same spec as the Montes so it'll be interesting to collect numbers from those other editions and see if the numbers fit inside the the Monte list as I think they will
