Cheap Cossies!
I've seen quite a few old rallycars for sale, whats the crack with them? can you use them on the road? i'm after a very cheap cossie and think this would be ideal. i do about 5000 miles a year and if i got one would like to do the od track day! i dont mind a bit of work making it tidy.

Depends what you want mate, can I be cheeky and ask what you consider to be cheap?

Reason I ask is if you look on here www.rallycarsforsale.net there not exactly cheap, I looked at every cossie on there yesterday to get some idea of the price there going for, and the cheapest there was a LHD Shell for 8-9k!
I'd love to be able to buy a full M-Sport car with Mountune engine etc, including Fully active 9'' Rear Diff and 8'' Front, 6 or 7 speed FFD 'box etc etc, oh the list goes on! lol
Will have one one day! Might be best of speaking to people involved in rallying etc, or people who build these type of cars, try Tim Finch or Julian Godfrey etc

Just out of interest where did you find out that Active Diff's and 'Box are 40k!?
