question about cosworth

Having just came across a ford RS broucher from 1995 in me bedroom when i was clearing it out, the escort cosworth is available without the airopack? at no extra cost, so from what i can gather from it if you bought an escos brand new you had the option if you wanted the upper spoiler or not.

I think all cars sold in Switzerland were not allowed the whale tail.
Other European countries? I'm not sure.
My car was sold to a German customer with no whale tail so it certainly was an option.

It was only in switzertland! but they made a little extantion on the roof to comply with there laws so even there some managed to get it... 
In another hand everywere some poeple also remove the upper spoiler to make the car look more quite and not worrie there mother in law (they better buy a rover 211.. don't they
)

)It was available in UK too, from about 1994 onwards and was labelled the "Delete Aero pack option" at NO extra cost
There are more about than you think, obviously they had
Different Tailgate
different Lower rear spoiler
and NO upper rear spoiler
I believe if you had this "Option" you also didnt get the front splitter and hockey sticks
