refitting whale tail after removal-help required

Default refitting whale tail after removal-help required

Trying to fit the bugger back on and I cant line the main bolt up with the hole in the spoiler post,it will screw in perfectly off the car but once you offer it up it just wont work
its pissing me off, are there any tips before I cross thread it

poke a long thin screwdriver up through the holes to try and centralise it all then hold it all in place while you whip the screwy out and fit the bolt, be very careful as its easy to destroy the threaded plate that holds the bolt in

how bizzare had no problem at all with mine located straight away,what a pain in the ass they are though

Taken mine off several times and never had a problem fitting it back on again.

just leave it until tomorrow... im sure ull get it to fit

never had any probs with mine either, but get someone to help you lift the spoiler and move it very slightly around as you put the bolt in, fit the main bolt first then do the small ones at the top of the whaletail.
