I'have got a B&M but it will be fitted only in next few weeks :°(..
the one radman is talking is the 'swedish' version.( that are the only two possibilities i ever saw).

some poeple says it can increse the wear of the syncromeshes but it will depend how hard you are with when shifting...
If like me you find the travel is too long you should try it!
I'll let you know my feeling as soon as posible but it may not be very accurate because I'll fit a paddle cluch at the same time

was on the GGR site tonight and the one he sells looks like a modded standard stick like what radman was on about unlike the one piece b&m.

ive had a couple on both escorts now and also driven one with the B&M shifter.

to be honest i preffer the small nuckle version, it felt alot more precise and i was able to keep the original gear-nob.

only down side with the B&M is that it replaces the whole stick aswell.

try www.raldes.co.uk for the nuckle replacement... costs around Ł60.

No prob, rally design are decent chaps, theyve helped me out with alot of bits over the years and have come to know them really well.

only down side if you change the nuckle is that you will have to drop the gearbox to access the selector cradle.

nop!
you have to reach a clip to dismentel the nuckle form the rod and this can only be done from undeneath and with the box lowered... (that's why mine isn't in place now)

Yep!! Furgot about the conecting clip, should manage to get to it by lowering the box down on the cradle on a trolley jack. Looks like its going to be a dirty job again.
