Exclamation Escort Cosworth plastic fuel line connectors

Restoring my car and want to keep it original. Went to remove the plastic connectors on the fuel lines and the retaining clips just disintegrated. I guess 32 year old plastic exposed to road crap ,to be working now after that length of time is wishful thinking. Any ideas where I can get replacements connectors. The Ford Dealer was no help. Can I buy these connectors complete or the clips anywhere or similar as well as the fuel grade plastic pipe??? Did Mondeo/Focus/Fiesta us a similar clip between say 1995 to 2010?
Dont want to use rubber pipe as not original. and it wont follow the shape of the original very well at all.

Looking forward to some guidance,

Cheers

I searched for these also (the engine bay end from the soft lines to the hard lines). I ended up buying some 6AN to 5/16” SAE quick connect fittings. Then made an AN hose up. The SAE fittings need to be drilled out internally to fit over the 8mm fuel pipes. This has to be done very carefully, so as not to damage or get debris in the O-Rings. This enables the connector to slide on enough to engage the lip on the fuel pipe and lock on.

i used to have quite a few at one time, ford used to sell them complete and you could just pop the end piece off and fit it to your existing one, probably no longer available nowadays though, other models use similar looking ones but the caps are different so dont fit so you would need to change the complete fitting
