Air Conditioning Compresor
I’m having a hell of a time finding a replacement ac condenser to fit my 93 cossie. So close but the mounting brackets are off by just a bit - does anyone have one to sell?

Hello,
I think it`s really hard work to find original replacement. Also notice, if you find original replacement, it`s old one. And if you are so lucky at you found replacement, it will cost fortune.
So... I recommended to modify fasteners from non original AC compressor, to get it fit to car original fasteners. (keep car original)
It`s time to go buy some metal and get some grinder, drill and welding machine.

I found a shop specializing in air conditioning systems and was able to order a similar compressor from an auto parts distributor in the UK. To your point he's using some other fitting and figuring out a way to make it work -- I think we'll get there! Wow I had no idea it would be such a royal pain in the ass

Hello M8, I didn't do the work so can't give you great answers here. I found a replacement compressor on Motorodoc. I recommend you meassure the space between the bolt mounting points and make sure it's equal to the one you find on Motordoc, unfortunately my invoice is a couple years old and running a search using the part number doesn't yield any results. Looking back I think the best solution is to get your existing compressor refurbished

Thanks for the reply mate , after digging and digging and endless net searches unfortunately I came up with nothing in regards to a replacement
But
i did manage to find a direct ford replacement and out of all the cars out there for a part to be the same a f350 couldn't be further away !

I looked into this a few months ago because my ac pump clutch was toast. After some research I found some info on a forum (can't remember which 1) that a 2006 jaguar x type 2.0 diesel is the same part. I say the same but the pulley is a 6 rib where as the cossie is a 4 rib. I looked for one on ebay and it does look the same but you will have to check. I had a spare pump for my escos so I made 1 good pump out of 2 and when I fitted it it actually worked 🤘🤘

You have a part number, or what year and engine F350?
