Depends on what stage chip you are going to be using. Stage 1 should be ok AFAIK but more than that i think you have to het an uprated one.

I would have thought a grp a fuel pump would be good enuff for stage 3. Did ggr not say what stage u could go up to with it? I think a stage 3 chip would be the way to go. Slow cossies arent any good are they.

due to the age of the car and the fact the for 120 quid inc vat and delivery for the walbro 255l/h pump , is it worth even risking - the pump is a DIRECT replacement for the factory one, BUT shift about 4 times the amount of fuel.

got mine next day from http://www.fuelsystem.co.uk/ very helpful .

I am told that pumps from big Mercedes engines are great for the application. I have one from S500 or smth and it works fine.

if its not a lux - u can access the pump from the removable panel in the boot.

tip - use lots of wd-40 on all the bolts for the straps - i ened up having to angle grind them off and fit a new stud like in the hole as the tin plante that anchors the facotry nut snaps off cos its so rusty.

i believe the grp a GGR unit pumps 195 l/h and is a large unit that is twice the size of the std one, its actually one from a audi quatro - so ive been told
