I know that the RS500 charge coolers will not fit without the removal of the aircon bits but is there a way to improve the efficiency of this intercooler. Will the chargecooler from the large turbo fit, then fitting an upgrade like thePace one, or are we looking at a water spray system directly onto the intercooler itself?

 

You can fit the RS500 with AC but you have to modify the lines and where it mounts to the front sub frame. I've seen it done a plan to do mine also.

 

when you end up doing it let me know!dont want to loose the aircon either!

it is possible however i opted for mine to be removed just really cant see the point we live in england its cold for 80% of the yr , open the windows the rest

 

You can fit the standard large turbo one as a straight swap - all you need is the intercooler (I have a mint one for sale ), and the hoses off a LT car (available from Ford). I did this to my car when it was only running 400bhp and also fitted the cold water seperation kit - worked a treat .

hi all i was also wondering if it is possible to fit an RS 500 intercooler to a big turbo escos with air con i have been offered one brand new at a cheep price bought by mistake, i live in australia and the car has a/c fitted i dont want to remove it but is it possible to fit the bigger cooler and move the a/c radiator to one side or something it is not a problem to make brackets or pipes as i will gladly do this i just need to know if it will all fit in the space. and if it will work . if some one on here has done it could they post up some pictures anda bit of a write up so that i know what i am up for. thanks for the help.
