What power should 4x4 cossy have to go high 11s on 1/4 mile???

 

I'd say up on the 400BHP mark.Anyone else?

I would have said a good 400bhp or a monster drivetrain setup like the man Hadlands will see your 513bhp get you to the line in 11.4sec

 

You don't tend to see many Escort Cossie's running in the 11's, saying that an 11sec 1/4 is bloody fast!

Anyone else got anymore times they've acheived?

 

Me on greys... standard Intercooler T34 , 3 bar map, mongoose..

I was running around 320-330 bhp i guess..

But i think the R&D 6 speed dogbox has some advantages in the time..
so guess you need around 450 bhp to go in the 11's for sure..

 

Either 450+bhp with the standard style uprated MT75 gearbox, or 400bhp and a super quick changing dog engagement gearbox.

 

Mike, what ya reckon mine would do? 400BHP gt28 turbo, 7.5/1 cr, alcon 6 paddle, standard box etc, 19's etc etc

I would love to try but wouldn't imagine the box would take it?

 

Mid to low 12s, depending on how brutal you were with the launch.

 

Thats not bad mate, considering you were running as 'low' as 330bhp, around about a Stage 3 spec I guess is it?
