I decided to paint my car in Imerial blue.
Problem is that my painter has two different example cards for Imperial and he uses Glasuritt colors.
Actually they are the same but when you look them from different angles one seems to have purple in it and another one is always blue.
I asked him to find Fous rs 2002-2003 Imperial, so I am wondering are there different shades of that color, for ex. one was on Escort and the another on Focus.
Right one is that with bit purple effect.

rspickup- what do u mean by it makes it pop? Is that as in really flippng between the blue and purple? My everyday car is a fiesta zetec s in imperial blue, a mate of mine also has one and when parked next to each other his looks alot darker and more just blue than mine. Mine is a really nice electric purply blue and in bright sunlight the blue goes really bright. Its had its drivers front wing sprayed in the past and thatss more just blue. I need to have my rear arch done soon but am worried they'll get the wrong shade.
I personally always thought imperial looked brighter in sunshine the bigger the car is, i.e a mondeo st200 looks brighter than a sportka or racing puma where the panels are smaller or have less flat surface areas.

Yeh, flipping in different lights as its a Mica pearl, and dependant on shade, and where the cars were made they nearly all look different, i just painted the side of my st200 and was worried about the shade/match and i paint all the time! lol but i went standard shade and it looks spot on, i did blend it, which is a must with mettalics and pearls imo.
