massive amount of work is needed m8, I guy I know did one on a bare shell and said he would never do another!
you need to replace the bulkhead, dash, wipers, pedal box, wiring, steering column and rack + loads more bits I've forgot.

I got a LHD Escort Cossie in the UK, and find nothing wrong with driving it. Only problem is the insurance tends to be a bit higher than RHD cars. Some insurance companies won't touch LHD cars.

No I haven’t bothered with that, as I guess my speed in speed restricted areas, and keep it just below. You do get used to it, but I agree I would like to change them at some stage. They just not a high priority at the moment for me. Busy putting all my money into a 380 BHP engine.

Cheers

There is one thing about a LHD Cossie, in that people who don’t know what they are, know they are a different car, and not just an Escort with a body kit on. I’ve had a few people ask me what the car is, as it’s LHD, and had some interesting conversations.

Cheers

Same here most people don't notice that it is a LHD they are just so engrosed in the fact that it is a Escort cosworth.

I have changed the Speedo in mine i have the part number if you want it ?

Yeah cheers Prox. Was it a bastard to do?

Most people belive its a real one because why would anybody go to the bother of fitting a body kit to a lhd escort.

leave it as lhd mate. I am building a rhd from a shell and that is a mission anyway, let alone if you wanted to go lhd - rhd

What about changing the mileage from kilometers to miles? Is there any laws on that? (clocking etc)
