Default Cosworth flywheel

Is the clutch side of the flywheel, different on the 3 types of flywheel for Cosworth ??

do you mean the face of it? or the bolt pattern?

Size of the hollow (probably the wrong word) around bolt pattern

I can't see there being much difference as they all use the same clutch

The problem is, that my new sinter clutch`s center, touch flywheel before the pucks, and yes it`s the right way. Seems like a production failure

there are differances in all three, the escort ones (small turbo iirc) have a larger clutch face i.e smaller hole around the bolt PCD

For a twin plate 7 1/4" or 7.5" clutch you will need a big turbo flywheel, it has the smallest diameter across the face, think it is 130mm not 170 or somthing similar, it is what I run on my Escos (was small turbo , flywheel had to be changed) as I have a twinplate ...

Give martin a ring at reyland, thats who I got my clutch kit through and he sorted the flywheel machining for me.

Mine ones are bouht from big turbo Escort, and yes it`s 130mm.
I have found the problem, it`s was a production failure on the clutch, a new one is just around the corner

i knew it was one of the escort flywheels that had a smaller opening round the bolt pcd
