Default ST Escos fuel lines..

are the rubber fuel lines (feed and return) supposed to have securing clips on them were they join the fuel rail.? i've noticed my brothers hasn't got any, but i've only ever delt will 2wd cossies in the past, and know from bitter experience what can happen if fuel leaks from this area..

any help greatfully received..

The oe fuel lines aren't actually rubber they are plastic covered with a rubber hose protection.Where the fuel lines join the actual fuel rail there are no securing clips the plastic fuel hose is sort of shrunk/bonded on and is safe.On the end where the fuel rail hoses join the metal fuel lines there are some securing clips coloured red and white that are of a squeeze pull/push nature.Hope this helps.Regards Robbie.
