Default ESCOS wheel offset, ET25 or 15 or

Ive noticed a lot of different offset cossie rims on this forum alone, is std ET25 on 8x16"? Anybody got pics of an escort cossie with 8"x18", one set of et25 and pics of et15 so I can compare the stance please
Why the differenc, just looks or does the car handle differently?

ok that works out about the same clearance for the wheel on the inner arch, do you notice any difference in handling or road holding having changed wheels? any pics of arch clearance- do the arches still cover OK?

If you retain ET25s on an 8x18, you have problems with the tyres rubbing on the sprng cups of the Koni dampers, so you either have to modify these with a hammer , fit coilovers or the easiest way is to fit ET15 wheels, which also has the added benfit of looking cosmetically better, as it fills out the arches more.

ET15 sound ideal then for an escos at 8x 18", save the Hammer time. thanks Mike R, do you run that kind of size and offset too? What is martin H running, I know he has differing front track and massive camber etc, just curious

I run 8x18 ET15s for track and 8½x18 ET18 for the road even though I have coilovers. Martin also runs 8x18 ET15 on the front of his, but uses 10" rears .

I run a quite agressive 3° negative camber on the front as well....
