and did they make more big turbo Monte's than small?

Technicaly its yellow but seeing as there was only 1 then as far as i know the rarest is Moondust Silver in both big & small turbo version

anyone know any figures as to how many polaris,silver and gloss black are left?

must admit polaris is my favourite.i always loved the look of tracey's rs2k she had in that colour.wouldnt want to match the paint if need be though.

If I remember rightly there are around 6 to 8 silver ones that people know about that are still alive. my figures from a ford source show around 19 built (includes RHD and LHD), don't quote me that only 19 were built but these are the ones we could find. Guzzler off here is the best person to speak to as he knows most of the owners.

as for polaris grey I only know of 6 but sure there are many more out there, not sure of any figures from Ford

I don't have any info on Gloss Black ones other than Monsters, which I must say looks a very very nice car

During a lecture at the University back in 1998/9 by a guy from Ford, he showed us a photo of a yellow Escort Cossie being tested at a Ford's factory..

So I guess Ford did make at least one yellow Escort Cossie.. not sure what was the exact shade, probably Zinc yellow as someone above said.

i know of 6 moondust silver cars, 1 of them is written off though, there must be some more about....

Ford UK had a yellow one, a friend of mine had it for some work a few back (he done bodywork for the ford press garage)

I know a few people with gloss black cars, i was told before about 100 were made Polaris is a good colour, dont see loads about either!
