Default pic of your homemade turbo heat proofing

hi all, with advice from paul ripley (cheers fella) the heatproofing behind the turbo (NOT SHIELD) is no longer available from ford so im looking for pics of ones that anyone has made up themselves from the various heatproofing kits that are readily available like DEI desgin engineering or COOL IT thermo tec you get the idea.... just need something to help me to decide what to go for...

i havent got any pictures but i made a complete bulkhead sound deadening/heat sheild with some heat reflective material from demon tweeks along with some of that heat resistant tape. i still had the old rotten pad as a template so only took a couple of hours to do. had a few people ask where i got it from. think it was about £35 for a 2x1metre piece.

Try to google tech line coating, not a shield, but lowers tep under bonnet. Can be used for exhaust manifold and downpipe.

OOoo Thats what i was looking for, i have some thermo Tape but you cannot get it in very wide strips

thats done nice and neatly Matt

mines an alloy heat shield made to suit my car thats been fitted to the strut brace, will sort out some pics when im home next.

It's from Demon Tweeks, I think it was about 12 quid, sticky backed easy to cut, I just made up a template from card and slotted it in to make sure it fit, then copied it onto the heat proof stuff-it was really easy and does look nice and neat

I did plan to keep the template but it got thrown away-sorry.
