Default How can I recognize an original EsCos whale-tale??

Hi People,

Is there anyone who can tell me how I can see if the whale-tale is original Ford or not??

Btw. the spoiler is still mounted, so I can't have a look on the underside

I have some pic's:

I've seen a lot replica's, but this one looks quite good to me.

I can't see any difference with my own EsCos spoiler

That looks genuine to me. Even down to the small cut outs for the water to escape.

Then on the last pic I though oh no no no. Then realised it was on a base model car lol

I agree it is either a good copy that fits very well into the seal between the top and bottom spoilers or a genuine one.

That's exactly what I thought..

But is there nothing else what I can check, just to know if it's an original Ford one???

is this a spare your looking at buying?

its only 5 bolts to remove it, wont take you long if you want to confirm if its genuine or not
