I would absolutly love a Carbon bonnet, but £1k is just far to steep.
but at the same time im not disputing that hey are not worth the cash for the amount of work needed to produce.
Just £1k for a bonnet... hmmmmm.
If they were half the price, then i would jump on it straight away.

i think if the quality was good and the price was reasonable then there would be a good amont of interest in them.
i always said i wanted one but have now moved away from the idea with a new plan - but saying that, it would depend on price if they could be fabricated

if i had a carbon bonnet id have to paint it otherwise it will be too chavy.
im a proper carbon nut, every carbon item ive seen for the escos is tastefull but a carbon bonnet on a escort cosworth unpainted will be a bit chav civic style imo

if all you want is a carbon bonnet purely to weight save then you may aswell go this route and save yourself a small fortune, as they will need to be painted anyway!
