Default Fuel pump trouble

Fitted a Bosch 023 fuel pump to my car when I first bought it, went fine for about 9 months when all of a sudden the pump started making a lot of noise, loud buzzing. Changed the pump and thougth it was wrong with the pump. Now, roughly 9 months later I've got the same problem again! Suggestions please! Changing fuel pump every 9 months will get expensive in the long run... And its a boring job.

Do you let the fuel level run low ? You might have debris in the tank that the pump is sucking up. Just a shot.

Normally fill between 35 and 40 litres, so should be plenty left everytime. So shouldt run dry or anything really...
