Hi people.

Can any people give me some advice as to what systems they have fitted to there Escort's please.

My car is running the GGR 330BHP and fitted with the ggr exhaust system and sports cat by ggr and also there group a dump valve.

The car is not louder enough for my likeing and I would like to make the car louder and sound more mean.

At the moment my friends Monte sounds awsome on tick over and on boost, sounds like a jet fighter.

May to some people sound boy racer thing, but i live i a street where I have scoobys and evo's making noise and I want them to know a cossie is on the block.

Mongoose on mine.Around £400 if I remember. You can also sell yours on to get some money back.

Rhanks guys, but what has the best sound, I want it to sound as loud as possible, Is it possible to just run a straight through system, or would there be a issue with back pressure.

i,ve got mongoose system !
but i can't stop the down pipe rattling against the a/r/bar no matter where i position it
any one got a secret they want to share ?

I have a magnex and it sounds better than most of the others in my opinion. Ive heard a few people have fitting issues with mongoose systems. My magnex fits perfect and looks good with the larger outlet option.

i had the ggr system on mine and it was very very loud compared to other escos systems, i think you will be very disappointed if you think you can find a louder exhaust that is as road legal as the ggr system(mot and emission friendly). im sure i read some where than ian howells used the ggr one on his escos that was running big power.

Thanks for the advice, it seems to be a very very well made system and build quality is good.

May look in to having the cat removed and also having the back box taken out.

Just saw your gauages instal on a thread. Very nice fella, like your current car.

As stated in our conversation, the cheapest way would be to remove the centre silencer on your current system.

Personally, I would ask Martin to modify it so that it can be refitted at a later date, in case the noise grates on you .

Mongoose on mine,loud enough,not bad when just cruising.Fits great too,with none of the afore mentioned rattling etc.

Try a large cone filter,that'll give you some jet fighter on take-off type noise.
