Was driving to work this morning turned into the road of my work and car cut out did not lose eletrics radio was still playing only engine cut out.

Tried turning it off on on again and the engine tickes over but does not fire up.

Frind said to me to make sure the fuel cut off switch did not come on WHERE IS THIS LOCATED ?

Yesterday i had a clifford concept 650 alarm installed on it worked fine ive had that alarm before and my friend who installs them i trust 100% could it be something to do with the alarm or does it sound car wise

has the alarm been set up to cut off the fuel pump, when you turn on power have you full dash lights and can you here the fuel pump working ??

 

Isnt the fuel cut off in the passenger footwell in the panel with the ECU.

 

Yes. There's a certain procedure you have to follow to get it working again if it has gone.

 

Hi guys ive checked the fuel cut of switch and it is still enabled.

Auto sparky working on it now has found a 20 amp fuse in a 10 amp slot when looking on the fuse box cover it says KAT any ideas. Also we are thinking along the lines of a fuel rely as there is no humm from the fuel pump when the igniton is switched on.

any more ides will be great.

 

I had this a couple of times with my Saph, it was the fuel relay, it would
just cut out for no reason !

It turned out it was the terminals in the plug, they just needed pushing
back together.

You mate might have disloged something in that area.

Problem sorted a wire in the fuel cut off switch was lose now thats fixed it fires up right away now

only got the car saturday from jct 28 will post up pictures once cleaned.
