Default lowcomp st escort cossie. info please

my cossie st escort has a 305 (GGR) chip and a hybrid turbo. the cars engine was rebuilt about 2000 miles ago by harvey gibbs. with low comp pistons.( this was all done before i bought the car). im not sure of what the advantages are with the low comp pistons. and would the car need remapping now the pistons have been changed???

cheers guys

personally on std management i doubt the low comp pistons could be used to the full potential really low comp's allow you to run more boost, which in this case depending on your turbo and management limits would not gain the potential unless you changed to a better management system to allow you to run alot more boost, different turbo etc...

if your just running a 305 steup all you will be doing is putting less stress on the engine by running a lower comp...
