L820 KPU isn't numbered 000 and has a normal cosworth badge in the banana pod, it doesn't have a Monte steering wheel, chrome hand brake button and I'm not even 110% sure its even Jewel Violet as it looks more like magenta, unless the only pics I have seen have been darker?

I had always been led to believe no. 000 was numbered 000 as so many people has seen it at a show next to the other prototype yellow Esc Cos which was RWD with a N/A V6 cos engine. Whether its the same car or not I don't know as despite searching for the yellow RWD and no.000 pics that Ford bought out for a RS show once I still can't find out any more info.

Personally I think L820 KPU had a multi purpose for Ford as what you can't see is it has a mk5a front end! yes a smilie face grill in the bonnet! and the oval side winkers. So I think it was a concept/prototype for the commemorative/Monte models/Small turbo/mk5a

C.D.A Speak to Dave (username Twins) he said he used to clean the car! as the guy from Ford marketing who produced it lived near him and used to bring home the cars along with the Yellow RWD V6 Esc Cos with A8 seats.

Fingers crossed he will fine the old pics he has of it

i currently have a standard escos bonnet on the car but have obviously got the other

mr ripley can post the pic i sent him up but it is looking sorry for itself as it is when i first bought it and it had been sat for nearly 2 years
