Default Coilover help

I recently bought a fitted a set of Avo coilovers, however when fitting only found out they had one tighting cup.

These when screwed down are worthless on the car as the spring sits loose.

The car will only probably be used on the roads and not track use.

Any ideas as to what Coilovers to buy?

How much could i sell my own Avo ones on for?

Get longer springs then, they are std 2 1/4, 2.25" spring very cheap.

As above. Call AVO and get them to supply some longer springs.

There is no need to sell them

As above the GAZ ones are labled, but if you have the poundage, it is possible to change spring length.
I can't see how they can be loose though, as when let down the car weight holds them in place

But it is clearly a problem for MOT in Northern Ireland as when they jack the car up if it sits loose they fail the car. Their is no comfort what so ever when driving the car at the moment due to the suspension.

The car is still sitting like a bus too.

Where did you buy the suspension from?

Ask for the rear springs to be changed, and ask if they can supply some helper springs (these support the main springs so they don't rattle around) to comply with your MOT regs.

If you have any trouble, then I can help you out .

i bought them off Demon Tweeks.

The problem seems to be that there is only one hlper spring and on most other sets of coilovers there are at least 2 one to adjust height and one to secure spring.
