Default 18" ATS Wolf Alloys for my ECossy

Hi all,

Just thought I would show you my newest purchase (well they aren't brand new but they are new for me ). I wanted some wheels that were different from the usual and came across these. I wasn't sure at first whether I like them but after cleaning the car this afternoon I think I am beginning to think I have made the right choice

Anyway, what do you guys think...??.......... Like or Dislike....??.....

Next thing to do to finish it off is to drop it a little to close that nasty gap in the rear wheel arch

As far as i'm aware it's standard as I haven't changed it since I bought the car and currently you could house a family under my arches lol

Why can't you run these wheels with Koni's? The guy who sold them to me said they were ET25 which is the correct offset for the ECossy isn't it?

I was bidding on them as well. I have a set but they just have ATS on the caps. One is damaged/repaired and I'm looking for a spare, but they are no longer made. One will turn up but god knows where.

@cozzie baby

looked at mine and they where cast in ET15

as said above i´m on koni´s with 25mm springs at rear and 30mm on front

not that low as i want but i only drove miles with this suspension, so maybe it will go deeper

and my problem

now i don´t want to run spacer´s, so maybe i´ll go for coilover´s

How does the Koni "Spring Seat" differ from an Original Damper, is the Koni slightly bigger or something is that why you can't run with them wheels or is it because they are ET15? If there is no difference then mine must be ET25 as I get no rubbing??

i think the koni damper is bigger then the original one.

if mine where ET25 then they would sit 10mm closer to the damper.

a friend of mine had them fitted with original suspension and height, and bilstein suspension (lowered) with no prob´s.

I have not got any pics with the wheels on.
the only pics i have show my number plates, and i'm shy about
people knowing my registration,
Maxie has a pic of my car without the WOLF alufelgen on
but its a cheesy one with me in it
oh and i slipped up,when i bought my 18X8HS WOLF ATS wheels
i was told they were et25, but when i looked they were ET 15
my car has WOLF spacers already fitted though.
its got the German look (fat and low )
will sort some pics out when i get the time

cozzfather, do you go to any of the shows, wouldn't mind looking how yours sits. I'm going into the garage in a bit (On nights tomorrow night so got to stay up for as long as) so will pull a wheel off and have a look at the offset.

years ago i used to go to ford fair with my mrs in her rs turbo
we would be in a convoy of other rs's(usually breaking the sound barrier)
i also try to go to national day only if i can infield park though

i'm sure your offset will be the same as mine and maxie's
and to the lad who got outbid, its a hard game this ebay lark
my WOLFS were on the German ebay and we had slow dial up back then.
i emailed the german geezer and he was up for posting them to
the uk.
then i got outbid and the computer froze,i was angry for 2 weeks
at missing the wheels i desperately wanted.
then about 4 or 5 months later a guy on here(hi bill) contacted me
and said he had some that he bought that did not fit his sierra cos.
would i be interested,damn right i was interested,so was a few other
people , i snapped them up.
then came the interesting bit,i was intrigued as to how he came to
get them as they are rare as rocking horse doo doo,
he replys "i got them off the german ebay"
they were the ones i bid on in germany
they stuck out like a sore thumb on the sierra
there is no way they will go on a sierra unless it has a foot wide
arches stuck on
if you ever want to pop over and have a peep mate give us a pm
CheeRS Karl

ps is there gonna be a convoy of RS's going to ford fair
as i may join up going in my Coz
