Default Using a 2wd Manifold ????

I am thinking of using the 2wd Manifold on the Escos, will it still come up to the same point as before, with the turbo inline with the zorst ???

And is this a worthwhile conversion ??

Cheers

Al..

I dont think the exhaust will mate up to the turbo with a 2wd manifold mate.

Will make the car more laggy, not needed unless your going big power like above 450bhp iirc

on a 4x4 saff if you've got a mongoose fitted you have to squash the part that runs underneath the gearbox so it can come up enough to fit on the turbo if you wanna fit a 2wd manifold

Dan, that defeats the object slightly!!

fitting a 2wd manifold for increased flow only to restrict the exhaust system by 'squashing it'

Alex, if you do go ahead with it all you will have to do to the exhaust downpipe is have it extended by about 2" so it just raises the flange further into the engine bay to mate to the turbo, easy peasy job

i know the 4X4 is rated @ 420 ish but i am already @ 450 on it, ( the max for the intake ?? )

not really - If you squash the pipe it doesn't change the diameter of it it makes it oval instead of round, don't see how that would make much difference tbh. My new exhaust will be 3.5inch round downpipe but then oval pipe under the car to help ground cleance.

I've seen a lot of exhausts that have been welded up crack or leak at the weld as the metal is quite thin.
