Cam belt tension?

Default Cam belt tension?
How tight should the cam belt set ?
As per usual the ford service manual speaks of yet another special tool, is there another way to set the tension ?

You should just be able to twist it 90 degrees along the longest straight.

90 degrees doest sound right but i dont know jack about them as my mate always does mine, but im sure either 30 degrees or 45 degrees springs to mind

90 degrees !!! ANYTHING LESS AND ITS PRESSSURE ON THE BEARINGS/ANYTHING MORE AND OFF IT COMES!!!!!- if your unsure -ASK YOUR MATE /BORROW THE FORD TOOL!!!!!!!

Tis 90 degrees as stated. Any tighter and your cam thrust bearings will complain

Yep 90 degrees with moderate finger thumb pressure.
