Because its a waste, it sits in the garage all tucked up from September to May, and then when the summer does come it only comes out on a dry sunny day just for a little pootle about. I cant take it anywhere as i dont want to park it in a car park and its just know fun. All i do is polish and wax it, so now i hate it when it gets dirty
Just want something i can use EVERY weekend and have some fun in
Thinking of maybe an ugly Evo

Straights are for fast cars, corners are for fast drivers.

Torque (Nm)@ RPM 500/4000
Weight (Kg/BPM Ratio) 1230
Quite a lot more torque and shit load less weight

Paul Ripley are you sure you can make full use of those 300bhp? Well running 300bhp car is a VERY fast car, it's not changed by the fact there are much faster ones.

Mate I don't do rallying
I live just outside North London
Surrounded by Motorways which is where I drive my car.. and if you use Motorway a lot like me under 300bhp (stage one is roughly 260 if your lucky) is hardly exciting.. you get my point? so to answer your question.. in the environment I use my car I try my very best to use all my BHP
Some rally nut's would probably say your 4x4 was boring compared to a rwd mk2 Escort.. so its horses for courses
BTW using the http://www.letstorquebhp.com/calculator.asp
Rally car with 300bhp weighing 1260kg has 241bhp per ton
Road car with 300bhp weighing 1800kg (not including the big wheels and the extra stereo and passengers road cars have) has 169bhp per ton
Stage one with 260bhp has 146bhp per ton
and as standard 128bhp per ton..
Big difference and I didn't even touch on the torque difference from the WRC car
Don't get me wrong I'm first to admit I'm no track star
but this track virgin intends to do Bedford this year and see how I get on

I know what you mean!
My old saff cos got almost the same spec as a rally car. It got 348 bhp and 430 lbf-ft torque on low pressure (24PSI) on high pressure (32 PSI) it got 378 Bhp and 456lbf-ft torque . (with a rally spec T03 turbo, everything build by dutch rallyspecialist Gerry Knubben).
I don't care much about the Bhp's, but the torque I think is the most important

Compared with my ST EsCos.....damnn the EsCos is f*ck*ng boring

![Wall](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/wall.gif)
Just like I'm driving an RS2000
![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
I seriously need more power. I'll hope I'm satisfied with a (real) 300bhp ST EsCos.
