Default Quick button wiring question

Right hand side of the steering wheel two button Front fogs and front heated screen. One has a grey plug the other has a blue plug.. which way around do they go

Its not cold enough in the garage to see the heated screen work and I have no front fogs

Thats what I would have thought but they are exactly the same plugs just different colours

Ive taken mine apart loads of times never gone back wrong, never stopped to think abut it just plugged them on ... are you sure one of them doesnt have a "loose" wire for the illumination whereas the other uses the multiplug loom???

They both have a loose wire for illumination

oh.... dunno how I managed to get them right then.... Thee must be a way to tell???

same style multiplugs but are the male/female spade terminals in the same place in relation to each other??

Just press/hook them both up mate, i could never work out which was for the front & the back either!.............

So me being a good boy scout, just pressed both when in doubt!!

Well tbh with no front fogs It doesn't matter so your theory sounds good mate

If you got any front fogs there just plug 1 in for testing.

they are the same plug with a differnt key, there is a T shape that is a different way round in the moulding if you look closely - you probably can force them on either way, but one way will be obvious
