The TPS is on the throttle boby opposite to the cable cam.
dono if it's possible to dismentle it without removing the TB?
first thing to do would be to check the signal @ the ecu connector much more accessible.
I'll try to get you pins and values
other may give there experiances in the meantime

ECU pins are 11 17 30
you should have 300-600 Ohm between 30 & 11
between 30 & 17 also 300-600 but this value should drope to 40-150 ohm when you are WOT
another smart thing to do would be to get a spare TPS and plug it (without removing to old one) and move it manually while looking at the SECS
if you still have wrong value the common failure point of the loom is at the two big multiplugs near the coil lots of people cut and solder this part

well chaps, changed the 1st multi-plug today and all seams to be ok atm, left the bottom plug there as it actually opened and was good inside so a quick clean and lube for that one, throttle position working again took her out for a test run and ended up having a run with a audi s4

I had a little problems a few days ago.. suddenly sunday morning I "enjoyed" lots of ignitionfaliure, and only drove fine with 3000 r/min and with NO load as when you accelerate. It detonated in the airfilter when I gave it lots of throttle when accelerating. When this began to get better, then it began to bang in the exhaust when passing 1 bar of boost still driveable without load.
I am sure it have been water somewhere after a wet night.. every single plug have been unplugged and checked. Engineloom multiplugs was inspected and cleaned, but NON of the plugs where moisted or corroded
Now it is a week ago it started.. the failure is almost gone away... the bangs in the exhaust is very rare now. So?? Dont know what ells to do.. thats why I just needed to ask what it does in gay mode
EVERY single sensor is new (oops.. except the tdc and tps)
