Prob been covered loads but I couldn't find anything relevent on search.. Whats involved in changing the rear diff and how hard is it?

 

only about 4-5 bolts, and the rear d/shaft and prop bolts to remove paul but its very heavy,so make sure you have a jack underneath to take the weight

 

A m8 did it on track last week-end!
took about half an hour but as Radman says the joepadise (not sur how U spell that!) may be on the bolts...

 

Cool as I just won a 3.9 ratio diff on ebay

Just gotta sort out a step off gear

 

Isn't there a quick fix ref the step off gears Paul, something along the lines of shortening the hy-vo chain, or summat like that

Search for the post by Yum re his new diff, it sort of turned into a bitch fight but there was some good info there

 

you will need a pair of step off gears and a shorter chain to match the 3.9 rear.

 

I believe A1 Rallysport do all the bits tbh I'll prob take to them to get the lot done
