Default fitting oil coolers

read the artical in P.F. mag today, looks straight forward enough. what do you have to do with the water cooler stuff on the cosworth engine? do you just unscrew the water cooling sandwich plate and conect the two water hoses together? or is there more to it than that?

You are correct.. off with the water/oilcooler on on with the oilcoolersandwich.
The 2 waterhoses must basicly be connected. I am doing it on my own car these days and connect the waterhose from the heater to pipestub on the left side of the block under the inletmanifold. It is is easyer to se and understand when the inletmanifol is taken of.
A tread here somewhere about breather on a Escort Cosworth, have very good foto of exactly this.. oh.. I think it was about fitting a breather
