Default buggered TCA boots...........

been sorting out the suspension, hubs etc today when i found out that one of my TCA's ball joint boots has split (actually its fooked).......

So had a quick look on ebay & found these=

Ps i wont be using the pikey bushes, i'll re use my uprated ones.

I bought some boots of ebay, haven't fitted them yet but they look ok.

You can actually buy replacement ball joint boots seen them on e-bay

Hi Drive TCA's or whatever they are, are available from most motorfactors for less than that price on Ebay.

i also bought the boots off e-bay and fitted them and are fine(cost £6 i seam to remember)fitted them up ready to refit and then bought adjustable tca and fitted them instead

And they only use small balljoints and will be fooked in 12 months...

If your balljoints are ok just replace the boots,about 6 quid on fleabay i think....

just make sure your balljoints are good before buying new boots,is there any play/wear in them as this is often the case if the boot is split and dirt/water has got in

Well i checked the ball joint in question last night & its deffo not loose! nice & stiff!

Have thought about the adjustables but its not a high priority at the mo being honest.
