Default Hybrid turbo for small turbo Escort

Can anyone recommend a good turbo to replace my standard knackered one, and what results did you see, what other parts are required, and cost.

thanks

This is a copy of a PM which I received off of cossymad off here when I was in the market for a new Turbo:-

360 Thrust Bearing- This is to ensure boost levels can remain high, whist doing no damage to the shaft or surrounding components.

Larger Compressor Wheel- From the biggest available T28 turbo, a Sunny GTi-R, to create more psi with less effort.

Stronger Actuator- Told hold that bigger boost at desired level

Cut Back Turbine Blades- This is to stop any lag created by the bigger compressor wheel.

The rest of the internal componets will all be brand new, the housing will be machined to accept the bigger Comp. Wheel, but other than this the unit looks completely std, but beadblasted housing makes it look like brand new anyway. We can use a new housing too, but at Ł1100 on top of the price, it is a bit pointless.
The turbo will have 12 month warentee, although expected life span will be well in excess of 30,000 miles of abuse.

Price is Ł799 including VAT. This is on the basis of we build one, send it to you, and you send us the old one back!!! Postage is about Ł15.

unsure what a T28 hybrid would do std but think it may pick up quicker???? but i have only ever ran 1.2 BAR on this so only know how it feels running that ...

my turbo also has a lambda sensor in it small turbo connector...

on the look out seems new T28 hybrids go for around Ł700

so i think i will be looking for around Ł400+ postage (about Ł20)

unsure if thats about right??
