Ok guys wondering if you can help me. I may be purchasing some 19's for the escort however the set i went to look at is fitted with different size tyres
Front's 225/ 40/19
Rears 235/35/19

Am i right in thinking the difference in side wall will end up shafting the front diff?

Any help greatly appreciated.

the wheels ideally want to have the same tyres on, unless the diameter is very nearly the same,you might get away with it.

i personally would have the same tyres all round.

 

That's what i thought. Not to worry a set of 19 refurbed OZ superleggera's with mint Michelin pilots on for £600 is a bargain. Even if i have to buy 2 new tyres.
