group a cambelt
as above what do yours look like mine seam standerd it s gates 5248xs power grip will it be ok for 400bhp or is it risky????

So whats the difference between these group A cambelts and standard ones then...???

as far as i know you cant get any better than Gates belts

Lack of or less reinforcment within the belt. Ive seen some with tooths made of just rubber and the whole belt feeling more like a rubberband.

how much power you run has nothing to do with the load on the cam belt - it's all to do with the cam profiles and valve spring rates

I just bought gpa cambelt from woodford and it is just standard gates cambelt.

has anyone got anu more info on this as im still alittle whery on useing that standerd belt ????

I havent heard of any problems from anyone with uprated valve springs and standard Gates belt.
