Default small turbo escort cosworth running problems

My escort has been running badly for about a month now and i cant work out what it is. It runs fine until it warms up and i switch it off and then it wont tick over and it misfires badly, i think this is the ecu safe mode when it knows theres a fault but im not sure, if the car is left for a bit then it will run fine again. Once its been ran the fuel pump stays on permanently when the ignition is on and the cars not running.

Ive changed nearly every sensor apart from the air temp sensor and the boost controller under the slam panel, ive taken out the fuse box and everything looks fine & ive cut out the 2 multiplug connectors in the engine bay and soldered the wires together. Ive checked the ecu connector and it looks fine. Ive tried a different fuel pressure regulator, ive also had the car plugged into a ford diagnostic tester and it showed no faults but the car wouldnt play up when it was there.

Ive ran out of ideas now, just wondered if anyone else had come across anything like this before.

Please Help!!!!!

Sounds like some heatsoak problem, I'd guess at EDIS or ecu. What's the catch code of your ecu?

It's on the label on the ecu loom connector.
