The monte figures came from a Rallye News Magazine from when the Monte came out, I intend to scan this and add to the thread as I'm sure it Monte 000 in Jewel Violet with slight differences to what made production

Defo 74 RHD

None were "homolgation" models as such though Think you would struggle to find a 1992 Monte too... Granted a number of them were LT but didnt come with water inj as the Homo units did..

Monte was commemorative model, to celebrate Monte Carlo rally win. So Escos Grp.A already had to have homologation before that win. Hardly any homologation Montes then.

Maybe misunderstanding. "hardly any" used here as "none". I know it works like that sometimes, maybe not in this context though. It's still foregin language for me.

yes yes yes..
the reason i'm interested in monte figures is so ican find out hopefully
from the same source, how many of the original 2500 ford built for homologation were LHD. Monte was indeed the celebration special after Francois Delacour won the Monte. but remember this no 2500 cars built-
no international group a rallying, people seem to know about other RS'S
figures, but not the ones like mine.
someone point me in the right direction ffs!!!
cheers Karl

sorry!!
i want to know how many cars like mine, were built.
the Monte Carlo is special to a lot of people, and info on numbers built
are available, however if my car and 2499 simillar, were not built
Ford would not have gone group a rallying and you wouldnt have a
Monte Carlo edition...
If anyone can point me in the right direction,i would be gratefull
