Default Gearbox oil

Hello chaps

I know this is probably an old question but, i'm currently trying to fill the gearbox oil, i've been told that the gearbox oil needed is specialist and this is even stated on the GGR website but I went to Ford the other day and asked for this oil and he gave me 75W90? Is this correct?

According to the GGR website 75W90 is for the diffs.

Thanks in advance

Paul

Do not put any oil in other than:
FORD TRANSMISSION E

5 021 033

A88SX 2C186A AA

Or you will have a notchy gear change and will have gaunch problems.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED (been there)

the transfer box has ATF fluid (0.5 litre)

the gearbox has specific MT75 fluid, (1.3 liters) also known as castrol FMT
