replacing tappets.
hi all,
when starting from cold, the tappets on my escos are ticking like mad!
i know it won't do any harm, but it really does sound rubbish!
as soon as it warms up its fine.
how easy is it to change them yourself??
anyone done theirs before?? cheeRS.

Easy Peasy M8,
Rocker cover off, time everything up and mark the pullys if you need to with a paint pen or something, slacken off the Timing Belt and remove from the cam pullys, remove the cam caps (take note of the order they are in) and cams and change out the tappets.
Re-fit in reverse order
