Default What are the stages in terms of bhp?

As above, to how many bhp correspond each stage?
...or does it not have a direct bhp figure and it's more to do with the necessary parts to reach each stage?
Dunno if I explained correctly, but hope you guys understood.

I guess it's a bit of a rookie question and you must be sick of those but still I'd aprecciate any replies...

Thanx...

im no pro but generally speaking:

stage 1, 250

stage 2, 275ish

stage 3, varies alot. but anywhere from 300-350. stage 3 depends on what you have done or how far you want to go. just 3 bar map sensor, greens and a chip. would safely run 300bhp. but fit a group a head gasket maybe water injection and (or) a 500 intercooler. run more boost and you would see more power.

these are the cheaper conversions, go more and it will cost alot more.
hope this help.

Every tuner has there own methods and levels thou so its not that straight forward but this is the general gist of it..

Stage 1 standard engine with a chip = 270 bhp
Stage 2 standard engine with a s/s exhaust, chip + Light green injectors and -31 actuator = 300bhp
Stage 3 Standard engine with a group-a head gasket, s/s exhaust, chip with pectal board, dark green injectors, -31 actuator and Group-A fuel pump = 330bhp

All stages require a set up and check over but an experienced tuner IMO

Cozzie Bhoy
you are incorrect the magnex is the best flowing, but cant comment on sound, best thing about the magnex is the way it sits like the standard exhaust, also looks the penguins under the car!!

Despite having the Magnex Ahmed always told me the Mongoose had the best flow, then the magnex. Scorpian being the worst can't comment on the blueflame or GGR

No problem m8...

So, guys if I were to aim to something around 300 to 350 bhp it'll be stage 3 right?

That's great because it's enough power for me and since I probably won't have a big budget it's great to see that I just need to make the right choices to obtain that power without going bankrupt...

There are many reasons for not wanting to go further in power:

1 - My most powerful motor so far was 150bhp so it will be a big leap

2 - The budget couldn't go sky high beacuse i don't have that kind of money

3 - As a consequence of not having a big budget would like to obtain a good power figure but keeping a fair bit of reliability (both of the engine and transmission parts)

Do you think I'm beeing careful with my choices or not?

Thank you all for the replies m8s

I found this in a tuner's web site.

Might be like a guide line for us (rookies)

I understand m8 and at first I believe the cossie will make smile everytime I drive it even in standard form, but I also know that after a while and after sorting suspension and brakes to uprated stuff I'll be longing for more power.

It's a modifying habit that I have and I can't get away from it. I'm 30 and I never owned a car that stayed 100% standard.
Don't like body modifications but mechanical stuff are in my veins...
Even my parents and sister get their cars modified because of me...
