help!

car will not rev past the point of coming "on boost" but revs fine up till then, proper cut out at say 3k think its a sensor? any idears?

£k is Limp mode I think.... try disconnecting battery for a day see what happens, but yeah you got a problem of some description... Do you still have the loom plugs by power steering tank?

no they have been cut out recently,

battery has been off for the last 4-5 month!

dissconnected the phase sensor so it would go in to limp home mode and it did change for the worse

Has it been running rough ever since you reconnected the battery??

If not then disconnect it for a while again

Favourite would be crank sensor IMO..

I don't think it would run at all without crank sensor...
