how do i fit longer studs?

best to remove dics/calipers first as you could get a load of rust/crud dropping down the gap,then if you dont want the old studs just knock them out with a hammer or put an old nut on the end first,if you turn the hub round there will be enough room in one particular position to remove the studs from the back,fit new ones and use spacer/washer and nut to pull them through the hub as you tighten them ,make sure they are tight up against the rear of the hub when youve finished,finally clean the hub face with emery or similar to make sure its spotless before fitting disc,prob easier to do this when all the studs are out

Sometimes new ones don't want to go in fully. DO not tighten the nut to strongly - you can damage it, just put on the wheels and go for short drive. Some tight turns and then came back and retighten the wheels.
