nuts too big for my rondells

Default nuts too big for my rondells

got the tyres fitted, put the rondells on but cant get a socket
over the nut.
the holes are too small, any ideas?

get a thinner socket..they sell those..at least i have seen it here in norway...
if you mean that the socket is to big for the hole that the wheel nuts are in...

you should be able to get a normal socket out your toolbox on them,if not then it sounds like u have the wrong nuts

must be one fat socket then!

the rondells have a center cap with plenty of space in there to get a normal socket on,well i can get one on mine no problem.

also how much thread of the nut is used when fully tightened?
what size are the nuts 17mm or 19mm?

i fiited longer studs when i had my rondells as the nuts only went on half way,prob been ok but i didnt want to risk it

Hi..

I think ROndells need to use different wheels nuts as the angle the nut contacts the wheel is different...Chris at Carnoiusor will be able to help you...

mine are 19mm with long studs never had any probs. have you got original rondells or are they engals.

are you using the same wheel nuts or have you got new ones.do you mean the socket wont fit the nut or the socket wont fit the hole in the wheel.

i'm using a socket from halfords, nut goes on fine but the socket is just a really tight fit in the hole of the alloy.
they have been refurbed.i have 19mm nuts and 17mm nuts on there.
so did the escort cosworths originally come with 19mm nuts?
