Whats the biggest brakes I can use with the standard 16" wheels...?

310mm I think..... Not great but OK - and you will not get AP calipers under the standard wheels. Which I am gutted about.

Is there no chance of getting AP calipers under standard wheels...?
Guess it'll have to be 18" for both summer and winter then

Well - I have been told there is a way, but it involves removing quite a bit of material off the calipers to reduce the caliper width, I don't know if anyone on here has actually done it though.

I've got the 6pot Tarox on my Escort under standard rims. I needed a 6mm spacer to get them to work. I think they are 305cm discs.

Damo I always wanted a monte............ But unfortunately for me and anyone that does not own 1 of the few monte's madI would really like to keep the option of the standard wheels - so cannot fit AP's.
