Anyone know this car?
I am going to view a small turbo Auralis Blue escos next week with one of the boys. He wants a low millage small turbo example (even though I tried to talk him into considering one with a re-built, tuned engine - like Damo's for example) though is budget is about £14k.
This car is for sale at £13,995 - 38k and the reg is M3 KSA the car is based in the midlands. Anyone know the owner or know of the car?

Loadsa ways
Easiest is to pull back the b pillar door rubber and look at the section on the inside, where the trim is, the metal will be covered by a whitish paint with a slight overspray of colour (more noticable on dark colours)....
IF there are rusting spotwelds then they arent factory IF it has been painted in anything other than the factory coating then chances are been re-spotted
Also the spots will be identical and symetrical either side (i.e N/s to O/s) and NEAT...
if there are 15 spot marks on the inside of the B pillar and only 10 on the outside then its had a new 1/4... the list goes on, its often easier to open the boot and compare the seam sealant
loads more
the funniest one I saw was a Large turbo K plate car, the bloke reversed it out the garage when I turned up, only for the first thing for me to see being the fuel filler FLAP
Opened the flap and there was a colour coded cap inside Apparently the owner didnt know anything about it ROFL

Ive always checked the sealer as you say. Alls well on mine. Just thought there might be an easier tell tail sign to check on the one above, like a stamp of something (if it is that one that is). I might have even seen that one on ebay come to think of it.

There are two pics of that side, two different angles, both show a shade variation. But only on the rear quarter where it joins door, bumper and bodykit....
Granted some colours dont photograph evenly, but this has IMO had paint
How do you know your Evo hasnt had paint
?

Having paint and having a new panel are very different. I've had bits on my M3 painted because of scuffs doesn't mean it was a new panel, written off or in a bad accident. Every car has to be judged on it own merrits.
If its had a new rear quarter and not just paint, plus it had a dent in the roof then I would walk.

I've viewed this car and in my opinion it has an offside rear quarter. There is also a small dent in the roof and one of the side skirts needs refixing properly.
That sounds like quite a list but it also has low mileage and FSH complete with loads of history. Nice colour too and goes well.GGR 300 chip from memory.
The rear quarter was an issue for me although I did offer but it was not accepted.
Worth a look.

Yep, definately remember it being up for sale before with the mention of a dent in the roof! With them not stating this in the advert now though I would presume that they've had it sorted now??

The car is now on ebay and making a pretty good price too, considering it has a dent in the roof for whatever reason.
