just where peeps are buying theirs from, mine seems to only have 2 outlets and most peoples seem to have three, the one o havent got seems to go to a swirl pot or somethink, mine doesnt have this either, so my question is can i get A) a new standard replacement or B) an alloy one without the third outlet at the top of the unit!

 

The chioce is yours. You can get them with or without the swirl pot outlet on ebay. Just get a swirl pot while your at at.

 

a standard one in good condition might be hard to find as i dont think you can get them new from fords anymore, but might be worth a phone call or try the breakers on this site.
As for alloy most firms will make you what you want so just ring them
