front bumper
my front bumper is sitting out a bit from the left side light, more so than the right side.
could this be a broken mounting or some dodgy fitting work

Each end of the bumper has two fixings,
The top bumper fixings (top two in pic) locate in a sort of plastic slot that is fixed to the bodywork just at the leading edge of the wheelarch,
The other twist fittings (bottom two in pic) help secure the bottom edges of the bumper to the bodywork from inside the wheelarch (Push in and twist 45 deg)
hope that helps ......

remove clips, fogs and indicators, then under the bumper and behind it are 4 bolts 2 in each chassis leg, front ones need to be removed back ones just loosened, then it pulls off, dont forget to disconnect the h/lamp washer hose at the bottle end from under bumper, do not remove the torx headed adjusters from below the number plate area, these are not designed to be removed as they are for height adjustment only

I always remove those as that's LOADS easier.

problem is geert, they have a weld on the end to stop them coming out,so it either snaps off if your lucky,or strips the threads in the process then its a pain of a job drilling out holes etc to get another bolt to fit , as [yes youve guessed it] this is a special bolt which isnt available separately

Now, where are those 4 bolts you are talking about?
Are these as easily reachable as those 2 I'm talking about?
Pictures would be nice.
